Lent is an intensified time not only for prayer, fasting and almsgiving, but also for traditional devotions dedicated to reflecting on the passion and death of Jesus.
It is no different in the Arctic.

"In the Arctic every Friday during the time of Lent we pray the Way of the Cross. In some missions, the stations are connected with Inuit culture by the material they are made of or by the images depicting Inuit people on it. Very often for the prayer of the Way of the Cross we use reflections of blessed Mario Borzaga OMI which a couple of years ago were translated in Inuktitut and published in a small booklet" - said Fr. Daniel Szwarc OMI.
