A few days ago, on the occasion of his visit to the US and Canada, the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, along with his wife, visited the Canadian Polish community in Vancouver where he took part in the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the Congress of the Canadian Polish community, British Columbia district.
"I am here to emphasize that Poland remembers you. Also because you remember her all the time. The best proof of this is that you speak Polish, teach your children our language, make sure they know Polish history and know what their roots are. Thank you for this from the bottom of my heart on behalf of the Rebublic" the President of Poland said.
The Presidential Couple also visited St. Casimir's parish where Father Alfred Grzempa OMI serves and then the First Lady, Agata Kornhauser-Duda, paid a visit to the Polish school located at the parish.
