"On Friday morning, December 22, Mateusz, Dominik (novices from Canada) and Ivan (from Ukraine), together with Father Krzysztof Jamrozy OMI and Boguslaw Harla OMI, formators in the Novitiate, took part in a live broadcast of Radio Kielce's "Cooking on Air" program. Under the watchful eye of editor Magdalena Sitek, the novices prepared Lenten pierogi, the stuffing of which, in addition to mushrooms, included a bit of Gouda and Mozzarella cheese (a little Canadian addition to a Polish pierogi).

"During the program we had the opportunity to acquaint radio listeners with the specifics of the novitiate, tell them about Canadian and Ukrainian Christmas customs and invite everyone to the Holy Cross Shrine decorated with Christmas trees and a beautiful nativity scene. The pierogis turned out perfectly, and after the program we were given a tour of the radio station building," - report the novices."
