An important part of the Oblate ministry is the pastoral care of the Altar Servers. The Oblates devote much attention to teaching children and young people how to experience the beauty of the liturgy as altar servers, and also help them develop their hobbies and build good relationships with their peers. The altar boys from our parish in Brampton went on a team-building trip on Thanksgiving Day. Their latest trip was to go go-karting at Speed 1 rally races in Mississauga. There was no shortage of competition and prizes with medals awarded to the winners. Those living in more wintery conditions, like the altar servers from our Winnipeg parish, prefer to race on skis instead of racing on the track.  A game of soccer or a traditional Polish bonfire with sausages is also a favorite activity of our altar server groups in Toronto.  See for yourself by viewing our gallery.
