Today the Oblates of the Toronto District met for their monthly day of retreat. Inspired by the Superior General’s letter, we reflected together on the theme of Apostolic Community on the basis of our Constitutions and Rules. Sharing our experience and insights, we looked for ways to deepen the apostolic life of our communities. During the Mass, there was also the installation of the new Superior of our District, Fr. Marcin Serwin OMI, who, like Fr. Tomasz Koscinski OMI in Winnipeg made a profession of faith before the community thus assuming the duties of Superior of the District. We congratulate the new Superiors, Marcin and Tomasz, and wish them many graces from God in their ministry.
