A few days ago (July 10) we celebrated the anniversary of the death of God's servant Brother Anthony Kowalczyk, a missionary in Canada.
It is already a tradition practiced by the Polish Knights of Columbus of the Edmonton Polish parishes that for many years, every year on the anniversary of Br. Anthony's death, they gather at his grave for a common prayer.
The Knights of Columbus also take care of the grave of the “saint” and organize a Mass once a month for the petitions and thanksgivings left on the grave of the servant of God by his worshippers. Despite the passing of time, the memory and “cult” of the holy brother from Poland is still alive among compatriots in Edmonton, where Brother Anthony ministered.
