40th Anniversary
400 parishioners and friends attended the 40th Anniversary banquet of the founding of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish. In attendance was the Mayor of the city of Mississauga who greeted the banquet goers with a message of congratulations. Attendees included, Oblates of Assumption Province, members of City and Provincial governments, and candidates from the Federal Liberal and Conservative Parties of Canada. The evening had speeches from Mississauga's current mayor, and past long-serving mayor Hazel McCallion who said she "regretted not being born Polish" for the "energy they live their faith and lives with".
